MADmakes is a drop-in, hands-on series where visitors can test their art and creative production skills. In celebration of Textile Month, join artist-in-residence Rachel Frank as she leads visitors in creating a sculptural plant using fabric and sewing techniques. This iteration of MADmakes examines issues of environmental awareness and climate change through sculpture and performance. Participants will have the opportunity to work individually and in groups, and their “natural environments” will be placed on view at the Museum throughout the month of September.
